About this experience

What to expect during the experience?
Your expert host will guide your team through a series of interactive exercises designed to make collaboration and accountability visible in real time. You will begin by reflecting on recent decisions and identifying where ownership was unclear or input was missing.
Through small-group activities and scenario-based challenges, participants will practice distinguishing between contributing to a decision and owning it. You will explore how to invite diverse perspectives without defaulting to consensus, and how clear ownership actually strengthens collaboration rather than limiting it.
The session concludes with a team reflection where participants define what clear ownership looks like for your team and commit to one change that will improve how decisions are made moving forward.

Dr. Kathryn Velcich (formerly Segovia) has been the Head of Learning Experience Design, Executive Education at the Hasso Plattner Institute of Design at Stanford for more than 11 years. Dr. Segovia holds a Bachelors, Masters and PhD from Stanford University. She loves seeing renewed excitement and optimism in the eyes of others and is an expert in helping teams flex their creativity and innovation muscles to address complicated, long-standing challenges with a new set of design thinking tools.
